Alumni and Giving

In January, 澳门六合开奖 will integrate alumni relations and career development to create the Office of Alumni and Career Services. The new office will oversee alumni relations, career development and employer relations. The shift will establish more robust opportunities for students, alumni and employers to connect through meaningful programs and events.

The office will be led by Kristy Kotek, the executive director of alumni engagement and career services. She will steer the integration with nine years of experience leading career services and five in alumni relations behind her.

鈥湴拿帕峡 alumni are wonderful 鈥 they want to help students and make their transition from college to professional life easier,鈥 Kotek said. 鈥淪tudents also appreciate career advice from people who have been where they are.鈥

She added, 鈥淲ith this integration, we will offer comprehensive career services by providing direct pathways for our alumni to advance student career success. Alumni will also gain more access to career services. I can鈥檛 think of a better way to start the new year.鈥

The strategic integration process will elevate existing programs offered by alumni relations and career development, growing innovative initiatives with a high level of student and alumni engagement.  Also on the horizon is a fresh employer development plan that nurtures existing and new relationships with employers, as well as alumni and parents, to increase internship and job opportunities for students and graduates.

The University has seen success connecting alumni and students through the Professional Mentoring Program. In last two years, the alumni relations office has paired over 200 students with alumni for mentorship. The expanded office will offer other similar opportunities to foster a stronger community.
